The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating a deceased body found in Kearny this afternoon.
According to Prosecutor Suarez, the unidentified person was found in the area of Central Avenue and Third Street in Kearny.
Prosecutor Suarez would not immediately release the cause of death or the victim's identity.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
