There are no reports of injuries in an aircraft collision that occurred in Somerset County this afternoon -Tuesday-.
According to preliminary reports, the small plane went down near the Central Jersey Regional Airport at approximately noon.
Officials say the plane crashed into and got stuck in trees in a wooded area around the airport during landing. Emergency responders are reporting a small fuel leak, but no one on the ground or the flight suffered serious injuries. Officials say only the pilot is onboard.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
