Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway into a deadly shooting in a section of Newark’s West Ward.
It happened before 3:55 at the intersection of South 10th Street and 13th Avenue.
Police responded to reports of shots fired and when they arrived, cops reportedly found a male worker at a nearby store suffering a bullet wound in his head.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the suspect foes the scene and remains at large.
