Authorities recovered the body of an unidentified person floating in a river in Hudson County this afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a state police marine unit was requested to the 1st Street Harrison side of the Passaic River after rescue crews found the body floating.
Officials said the body was recovered in close proximity to the train bridge.
Police have not identified the individual at this time.
The investigation remains active.
