Detectives Searching for Berlin Man Who Walked Away from Group Home

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are searching for a man who walked away from a group home in Berlin and hasn’t been heard from in over a month, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Berlin Police Chief Millard Wilkinson.

Police say, Vernon Dockery, 36, of Berlin, left the home on Egg Harbor Rd. on Feb. 13. Detectives said Dockery was in contact with the home through the first week of March, but has not been heard from since.

Dockery was last seen wearing a black headband, blue jeans, and white sneakers. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs.

Dockery has a large tattoo of an eye on his forehead.

Police said they believe Dockery might be in the Atlantic City area.
