Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man on Friday night in Camden, reported by Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
According to Camden County authorities, on Friday, March 17, 2023, at approximately 10:54 p.m., Camden County Police Department officers responded to the 1300 block of Fairview Street in Camden for a report of a person shot.
Officers arrived on the scene and located the victim, Naseer Bryant, 23, of Sicklerville, who suffered from apparent gunshot wounds, police reported.
Officials say the victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital and pronounced deceased at approximately 11:16 p.m.
The investigation is active and ongoing at this time, officials said.
