Police officials in Haledon are investigating a reported robbery of a food delivery person that occurred in a section of the city on Saturday afternoon.
According to a preliminary investigation, police say the incident was reported on Avenue C at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Units arrived and found the delivery person who told them that a male suspect approached and took about $50 in cash before fleeing the scene on foot.
Police say the suspect did not brandish a weapon and was a Hispanic male last seen wearing a blue tie-dye sweater and grey shorts.
The suspect was last observed fleeing through the woods on Avenue C.
There were no injuries reported.
