The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit are cooperatively investigating the death of a man in Atlantic City.
According to Atlantic City Police, on October 19, at approximately 1:47 a.m., the police department responded to a ShotSpotter notification on the 1400 block of Atlantic Avenue.
According to officials, officers responded to find Mays Landing resident Tyronne Ford, 21, unconscious and unresponsive.
Mr. Ford was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
