Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Wharton Borough Police Chief Anthony Fernandez announce that law enforcement authorities responded to the Brentwood Garden Apartments in Wharton Borough for a death investigation.
The Morris County Sheriff’s Office crime scene unit and bomb squad is assisting in the investigation.
The bomb squad responded to the scene and rendered the scene safe for law enforcement to conduct its investigation.
There is no immediate danger to the adjacent community.
This investigation remains active and ongoing.
