Police are investigating the death of a person found at a location in Jersey City Wednesday evening.
Officials have not released much information regarding the situation. Still, preliminary reports indicated that officers were called to an address in the 900 block of West Side Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person around 9:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified person dead and deemed the matter suspicious.
Authorities are investigating how the individual died.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has been notified, but they have not announced involvement at this time.
