Police officials in Newark are looking into the death of a man who was found in the city's North Ward on Monday morning.
According to a statement released by Newark Police, the incident happened at approximately 5 a.m. where police responded to the 800-block of Broadway on a call of an unresponsive male inside a vehicle.
Police officials say officers arrived at the scene and found the victim then contacted EMS for assistance.
EMS arrived and transported the man to Clara Maas Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead a short time later
This incident remains under investigation, although it is not considered suspicious at this time according to Newark Police.
