Authorities in Middlesex County announced an ongoing investigation into the tragic death of an infant in the City of Perth Amboy.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone stated that on Friday, June 20, at approximately 10:33 a.m., authorities received a 911 distress call at a residential daycare on McKeon Street in the City of Perth Amboy for an unresponsive baby.
Upon their arrival, officers located the unresponsive baby, MCPO officials say.
The baby was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and continuing.
