A man suffered fatal injuries after being shot multiple times in Elizabeth early Saturday morning.
Residents dialed 911 after they say they heard multiple gunshots on Bond Street around 4 a.m.
When police arrived, they found the severely injured victim struck by several bullets.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office is leading the active homicide investigation but has not announced the identity of the victim or if the suspect was captured at this time.
Authorities are investigating the motive for the shooting.
