Authorities in Atlantic City are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday night, leaving one dead.
According to information released by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, officers from the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 22, 2026, at 2202 Hamilton Avenue, Apartment D.
A joint investigation conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and Atlantic City police revealed that one individual sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
