Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Woodcliff Lake Under Investigation

A violent crash in Woodcliff Lake claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Friday afternoon, prompting an investigation by local authorities.

According to information released by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the crash occurred around 4:51 p.m. on August 1, 2025, along Pascack Road near the intersection of West Hill Road. 

Emergency responders, including Woodcliff Lake police officers, paramedics, and EMS personnel from surrounding towns, arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, the motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Frank J. Fea of Middletown, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene.
 

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit and the Woodcliff Lake Police Department are jointly investigating the incident. 

Preliminary findings revealed that Fea was riding a 2025 Honda motorcycle when it collided with a 2015 Kia, resulting in his ejection from the motorcycle and fatal injuries.

 

Authorities confirmed that no criminal activity is suspected, and no charges are expected to be filed in connection with the crash.
