A violent late-night crash in Pemberton Township on Friday has resulted in one fatality and disrupted traffic along NJ-70.
Emergency responders were called to the scene at the intersection of NJ-70 and Pasadena Road around 11:30 p.m. following reports of a serious accident.
Upon arrival, police discovered a devastating scene involving two vehicles in a collision. In one of the cars, occupants were found trapped, leading to a swift response from emergency services.
Tragically, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while EMS attended to at least two other victims.
Authorities shut down all lanes on NJ-70 to facilitate a thorough investigation.
The cause of the collision has yet to be determined. Further updates will be provided as the investigation into this tragic event continues.
