Irvington Township city and school officials are investigating a data breach that had personal information of employees exposed.
According to school officials, the breach possibly affecting about 1,200 teachers, staff and caused "major issues" in the district on Wednesday.
Officials say the names and partial social security numbers belonging to employees were leaked to an unknown number of people and affected staff who were employed on or around June 2011.
School officials would not where the data ended up but the incident remains under investigation.
