Ocean County authorities are looking into the cause of a crash that killed a person at an intersection in Brick Township Tuesday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were dispatched to the intersection of Burnt Tavern Road and Greenbriar Boulevard to investigate reports of a crash with injuries shortly before 11:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found the crash scene with three victims injured.
The most seriously injured of the trio was pronounced dead during the overnight hours.
Police have not released the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation.
