A crash in Westfield sent at least one police officer to the hospital according to reports.
Police were called to the area of East Dudley Avenue and Highland Avenue around 7 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a police vehicle.
According to police, the officers were en-route to a potentially life-threatening situation when the crash occurred.
The officer was transported to the hospital while a civilian was also reportedly treated for injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
