Several victims were injured in a car crash that caused the vehicle to overturn on a highway in Newark on Saturday night.
According to police, the collision happened in the 200 block of Route 1&9 just before midnight.
Police say emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the car on its side with at least one person trapped inside.
Rescue crews were able to safely extricate the victim from the vehicle before handing them to medical professionals to be transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Police say two other victims suffered non-fatal injuries due to the crash.
The cause remains under investigation.
