An early Monday afternoon car crash that happened in Newark's downtown injured several of the vehicle's occupants.
Emergency responders assisted in the noon day single car crash that caused an SUV to overturn on Park Place and Rector Street authorities said.
One person was transported to University Hospital suffering a serious arm injury while EMS evaluated two other victims who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Newark Police.
