A crash that caused fatal injuries is under investigation in Monroe Township.
First responders rushed to the area of Buckelew Ave. at Ralston Way shortly before 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash with occupants possibly trapped in a vehicle at that location.
Rescue crews arrived to the scene to find at least one person trapped after the vehicle left the roadway, then crashed into a tree in the woods according to initial reports at the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead a short time later. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
