As residents of Newark and the North Jersey region wake up to a brisk 46 degrees this Monday morning, they're advised to brace themselves for a cooler week ahead, marking a significant shift from last week's milder weather.AdThe National Weather Service reports current winds to be light, though conditions are expected to become breezier as the day progresses, contributing to a chillier feel in the air.

Today's forecast promises mostly sunny skies, with temperatures reaching a high near 51 degrees, accompanied by west winds blowing at 8 to 15 mph.

However, in the evening, we will see partly cloudy skies, with the mercury dipping to around 34 degrees.
