Good Wednesday morning, New Jersey. It’s another chilly start across Newark and the North Jersey region, with temperatures hovering around 46 degrees to begin the day.

If you’re heading out early, you’ll want a warm coat—and with the breeze picking up at times, a hat wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
Rain is moving through much of the region this morning, making for a damp commute across North Jersey.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 50 percent chance of showers before 2 p.m.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with a high near 58 degrees. Winds will come from the south at 8 to 11 mph, with gusts reaching up to 23 mph.
As the day progresses, we should begin to see some breaks of sunshine, offering a bit of relief from the gray start.
Looking ahead to tonight, conditions will improve with partly cloudy skies and a low around 46 degrees. 
Winds will shift from the northeast at around 5 mph before becoming calm in the evening.
