There is an active search underway for two suspects who are responsible for an armed robbery that also resulted in a carjacking in Newark's South Ward a short time ago.
According to police, two armed black male suspects arrived in the 30's block of Vorhees Street before 6:30 a.m. and robbed the victim of personal possessions.
When the violent suspects felt that they didn't have enough, they took the keys to the victim's blue 2005 Acura TL then fled the scene according to reports.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "V62-LBU."
There were no physical injuries reported.
