Newark Police are investigating a robbery of a business that occurred on Wednesday night at a location in the city.
Police responded to the store located in the vicinity of 15th and Littleton avenues at around 7:35 p.m. after they received reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Employees told police officers who responded to the scene that two black males rushed into the establishment armed with guns and robbed the business at gunpoint.
At least one of the suspects reportedly wore a mask and dark clothing during the heist.
No one inside the store suffered any physical injuries during the incident that remains under investigation.
