A 23-year-old New York woman arriving on a flight from Santo Domingo Friday was arrested after authorities allegedly seized more than six pounds of cocaine.
On July 8 at approximately 8 p.m., Carolina Pantalion arrived at Terminal C after flying in from Santo Domingo. During a search of her luggage the discovery was made.
She was subsequently charged with possession and intent to distribute, according to Port Authority Police release.
Pantaloon was taken to the Essex County jail on $500,000 bail.
