Clouds, Spotty Showers Could Interrupt Sunday Sunshine in Newark

Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

After a beautiful day on Saturday, we face some cloudy conditions to close the weekend out that could give us a chance that rain in certain parts of Newark and the North Jersey region

Good morning and happy Sunday if you waking up with us, it is currently 66° at 4:30 am  in downtown Newark New Jersey.

Good morning if you’re headed out to first Sunday service you probably will be good up until around noon, where there is some expectation of some showers that will reached the area, but not a complete washout at all, but just a bit different from the pristine weather that we had for Saturday

So you might wanna grab the umbrella and keep it handy just in case.

According to the National Weather Service,  a slight chance of showers between 11am and 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 85.

Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms likely before 2am, then a chance of showers.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Have a great day, Jersey
