A 72-year-old woman was robbed by a female, male thief Thursday as she walked back from the grocery store.
According to the victim, as she was walking on Van Houten Avenue near Womham street she was grabbed from behind and held by a female suspect as the male robbed her of jewelry and cash Thursday just after noon.
Both suspects, only described as "middle aged" fled on foot.
The incident remains under investigation.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
