Police in Clifton ended a several-mile pursuit of a stolen vehicle that they attempted to pull over in their city Tuesday morning.
According to reports, police spotted a silver 4-door 2014 Kia and attempted to pull the car over after the registration came back stolen just before 12:30 a.m.
The driver of the car sped away and led police southbound on NJ-21 where officers broke off the chase near Exit 4 in Newark.
Authorities say the car has a reported NJ license plate number "D70-EDW" and the suspect remains at-large.
