Police reported injuries in an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station in Clifton Tuesday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, shortly before 11:10 p.m., a suspect armed with a sharp object arrived at the 24/7 On-The-Go located in the 300 block of Lexington Avenue and announced a robbery.
Police say during the incident, the suspect reportedly went on the attack and stabbed an employee.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and the suspect fled the scene.
Police are searching for the suspect and continue to investigate the incident.
