Cliffside Park Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child in Fairview

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced the arrest of 28 year-old Job N. Ramos-Aguilar, of Cliffside Park, on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by contact, and endangering the welfare of a child.

On Tuesday, June 28, it was reported to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency that between 2006 and 2014, Job N. RAMOS-AGUILAR engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile acquaintance in Fairview, New Jersey. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Fairview Police Department was initiated and it was learned from the investigation that Ramos-Aguilar engaged in the sexual activity with the juvenile while he/she was under the age of 13 and that the sexual abuse continued for approximately five years.

Based on the investigation and interviews, Ramos-Aguilar was arrested and charged with one count each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child.

His bail was set at $250,000.00 with no 10 percent option.

He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim and must surrender his passport as conditions of bail.

Ramos-Aguilar was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.

He is scheduled to make his first appearance on August 1st in Central Judicial Processing Court.
