Good morning, New Jersey! Happy Thursday!
We’re waking up to another cool morning across the Garden State, but the good news is that we’re heading into what could be the nicest day of the week!

If you’re joining us at 4:30 a.m., you may still want to grab a jacket before heading out. However, we’re not feeling quite as chilly as we have over the past couple of mornings, and things are only going to get better as the day moves along.
Right now, downtown Newark is sitting at 59 degrees, making for a fairly comfortable start compared to earlier this week.
Around New Jersey this morning, Toms River is checking in at 54 degrees, Sussex County is at 49, Paterson is reporting 52, Irvington is at 58, and Berlin, in South Jersey, is waking up to 52 degrees.
But here’s the part we’re really looking forward to!
According to the National Weather Service, we’re expecting plenty of sunshine today, with temperatures climbing to a beautiful 74 degrees.
Southwest winds of 5 to 15 mph will shift out of the west during the afternoon.
That means a great opportunity to get outside, enjoy your lunch break, take a walk, or simply soak up some of that sunshine.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to around 50 degrees and light northwest winds.
So, New Jersey, we’ve made it through a few chilly mornings, and Thursday is giving us a little reward!
Enjoy what should be the warmest and one of the most beautiful days of the week. Have a fantastic Thursday, everyone!
