Chilly Morning in Newark and North Jersey Region, Warmer Days Ahead

Newark and North Jersey residents are waking up to a brisk morning with temperatures hovering at 44 degrees.AdThe chill is even more pronounced in Sussex County, with temperatures nearing the freezing mark. However, clear skies promise some sunshine throughout the day, which should bring a slight warm-up.

The National Weather Service forecasts a pleasant day, with sunny skies and a high near 62 degrees. A calm wind will pick up, becoming southeast at 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, the region can expect mostly clear conditions with a low of around 42 degrees.

The weekend outlook is particularly promising, as Sunday and Monday are set to see temperatures soar to the mid-70s and even reach 80 degrees in some parts.AdThis warm spell provides a perfect opportunity for residents to enjoy their weekend outdoors.
