EMS transported a child to the hospital after suffering a stab injury at a residence in Bayonne.
According to preliminary reports, police an EMS were called to the 80's block of West 36th Street after receiving reports of an injured person.
Arriving emergency crews reportedly found the child suffering a stab injury to the neck at that location.
Reports said that the injury was caused by the child -around the age of 4- accidentally falling on a pair of scissors.
There were no immediate reports of life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
