First responders are on the scene of a child pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the city's West Ward.
Police were called to the 30's block of Smith Street at around 7:05 p.m. for a person struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrive to the scene, units located a girl (around the age of 7-years-old) laying on the ground injured at that location.
The victim was conscious and alert upon EMS's arrival.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
