EMS transported a young child to an area hospital after rescue crews pulled the child from a pool at a home in Elizabeth this evening.
Emergency responders were called to a home on Morristown Road after they received reports of an injured child at that location.
Crews arrived to find the child had taken in too much water according to reports.
The child's injuries are not immediately reported as life-threatening at this time.
Police are continuing to investigate.
