A child is in serious condition after crashingnon a sled in Stafford Township Sunday evening.
Ocean County authorities said the child, who is around 11-years-old was on a sled when he fell off and struck his head just before 11 p.m. in the 100 block of Riptide Avenue
According to officials, the child was life-flighted to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where doctors began treating his injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Stafford Township Police.
