Child Ejected from Vehicle, Two Others Seriously Injured in Upper Freehold Crash

Three people suffered serious injuries during a head-on crash between two cars on Route 539 this morning, police said.

According to police, sometime around 9 a.m. in the area of Cream Ridge Golf Course a Chevrolet Silverado and a Toyota Corolla crashed. 

The driver - female - and a boy passenger, who was ejected from the Corolla were transported by helicopter to Capital Health Hospital in Trenton, according to police. 

The boy was later transferred to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

The woman driver of the Silverado who also suffered serious injuries was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton .

The crash remains under investigation.
