Carjacking, Assault Reported in Cliffwood Beach, Suspect At Large

Aberdeen Township Police responded to a carjacking incident that occurred just before 4 p.m. Friday on Ridge Road in Cliffwood Beach.AdUpon their arrival, police officials said in a statement that officers found that a 2008 Honda Civic had been stolen and its two occupants assaulted.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male with a skinny build, blond hair, and facial hair.

He was last seen fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle and is considered to be armed. Police indicated that this incident does not appear to be random.

The investigation is ongoing, led by Detectives Louis Nanna and Ron Osadacz of the Aberdeen Township Police Department.
