Two juveniles were taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property after they were caught running from a stolen vehicle in the city's North Ward on Thursday morning.
Police say they attempted to pull over a Cadillac that was confirmed stolen, but the driver ignored officers' lights and sirens then sped away before 7:10 a.m.
According to reports, police eventually caught up with the vehicle after they followed it to the area of Lake Street and 2nd Avenue, where OnStar reportedly turned the vehicle off.
Two juveniles bailed from the car but were caught near the Bloomfield Light Rail Station.
There were no injuries reported.
