Newark police are on the search for a thief that took "his" time in stealing several items from a vehicle in the city's Ironbound section late Friday night according to residents.
The person (appearing to be a male) can be seen on surveillance video smashing in a window on a pickup truck parked in the area of Adams Street and Malvern Street on Friday morning at around 2 a.m. The suspect then comfortably layed in the vehicle with his legs hanging out, snatched several items from the vehicle including the vehicle's radio.
Police arrived a short time later where they took a reports and advised the victim to notify authorities if they see the suspect in the area.
