Car Strikes Person on Scooter in New Brunswick

Police in New Brunswick are investigating a crash that injured a person on a motorized bike in the city Sunday evening.

According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. in there 100 block of Sanford Street.

Police say a car collided with a scooter, causing the rider to eject from the bike at that location.

The victim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.

The incident remains under investigation.
