Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect who made off with a car in the city's downtown Saturday morning.
Police say the incident happened in the 800 block of Broad Street, where a male suspect jumped into a car left running at that location.
The suspects sped from the scene in the owners 2014 Mercedes Benz 250 CT, according to police.
Police say keys were inside the vehicle. Offcials advise city residents not to leave unattended vehicles running.
The theft is under investigation.
