Emergency responders and rescue crews rushed to the scene of a crash that involved two cars and a truck on a highway in Union County Sunday morning.
It happened just after 3 a.m. near the intersection of North Avenue and Spring Spring Street in Elizabeth.
A preliminary investigation indicated that while stopped at the traffic light, the Amazon truck was rear-ended by a vehicle then side-swiped by another car at that location.
Police reported injuries but have not confirmed any severe conditions at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
