Authorities are investigating an accident that left three pedestrians, including at least two children, suffering injuries after a car struck them on Route 9 this evening.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Route 9 and Edgewood Court sometime around 10 p.m.
According to initial reports, a mother pushing a stroller was among the injured.
No information was immediately available on the condition of the victims, however at least one of the victims was flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
