Newark Police did not find any injured victims while investigating at the scene of a shooting that occurred in a West Ward neighborhood.
Gunfire erupted in the 200 block of 11th Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. where officers arrived and conducted an investigation.
Officers canvassed the vicinity and found at least two homes and a vehicle struck by bullets. Witnesses say the gunmen fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
