According to the NJ Department of Transportation's website NJ-511, they reported the incident just after 6:45 p.m.

Offcials say the fully involved car fire, which sat on the shoulder of the highway, temporarily blocked all southbound traffic from passing as flames billowed out from the hood of the vehicle near exit 136 in Clark.
