Firefighters made fast work extinguishing a blaze that ignited a car on I-78 in Newark on Tuesday evening.
Flames tore through a car in the westbound lanes of I-78 in Newark sending firefighters to the scene where they found the vehicle on the right side of road heavily involved in fire.
The driver of the vehicle was able to escape without injuries.
The fire causes a minor backup for westbound drivers.
