There were no severe Injuries reported for the driver of a vehicle that crashed then overturned in a Newark Ironbound neighborhood on Sunday evening.
Police were called to the intersection of New York Avenue and Houston Street to investigate reports of a car crash that occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Units arrived to find two cars involved with one of the vehicles overturned at that location.
Police say the driver of the overturned car was able to self-extricate before emergency responders arrived at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
